Another chassis on the market, this one looks like a winner i think. Cheap 2012 conversion and doesnt look as flexy as the old zeppin chassis

I guess its a bit of chance fact sometimes and Im unlucky most of the times

Put the black TRF shocks on my car last night with Craig's modifications. I thought the car felt like it had more grip all over. The black shocks look really good, it takes the edge off the orange.

Newly built shocks should feel like more grip no matter what brand How did you like the cut upperdeck?

Default Upperdeck mod

Just came back from the local carpet track where I tried the cut upperdeck. Broke my pb on the fourth lap! I liked it better with a spool in the front than with the geardiff w. putty. The mod is definately recommended.

Canīt wait for the new car which arrives next week

So, do you think it is a good mod to do on a small carpet track with rubber tires?

Ran the cut upper deck last night and really liked it. found it had more rear traction and was able to dial out a little rear toe in, went down to 2.5 toe in on the rear.
Over alll was a great improvement, the car was more compliant, faster and easier to drive. Was up .1 n my fastest laptime.

Ran the modified top deck on carpet today (first time with it on carpet) using Sorex 28jb's.

Best the car ever felt on carpet and the sustained grip on direction change was amazing. So much confidence with the car now and I could push easily with it.. might even put off purchasing a 2012 now (Shhh). and importantly, no grip roll or understeer... just confidence, rear grip and improved lap times.

so to me, I think its better outside and inside, but thats me

If a setup calls for 2 hole piston in the front and 1 hole in the rear on a setup sheet. What piston is that on the tree? 1-1,1-2,1-0 / 2hole or 1-1,1-2,1-0/ 3hole on the shock tree.
