I dont think i will be buying one

I like my T3 and unless the new one is massivly quicker i will stay with the T3

No, you got it wrong, the cells won't be up the middle, the shaft WILL BE THE BATTERY!

The positive side will be the front bulkhead, and the negative side will be the rear bulkhead. Both bulkheads are insulted from the chassis to prevent shorts. Each bulkhead has standard 4mm connectors.

:)

Narrow chassis and tamiyalike dual bellcrank steering system. Those are biggest changes AFAIK.

From what I've seen that is correct.

Bang on, it won't be any quicker. Seriously, all these new cars are only faster in your head and manufacturers like Xray want your £370 each year. I'm running an old Yokomo BD (admittedly with a lipo chasis, but everything else is the same as the 04 original) and its just as fast as all these new Xrays and HB TCX's etc etc at my club.

Keep what you got and get it dialed, you'll go faster than chasing setups on a new car all the time.

Old School

+1 I'm running a old bought used T2 and it is hooked up. I could buy a new one but why. I'm running just fine. I treat my R/C cars like my real cars. I keep them well maintained. My T2 will outrun a T3 2011......Bring it on!

I have bought a new ride every year for the past 3 years. 08, 09 & T3. The great thing about Xray is they hold their value well. I sell my car for $250 bucks on Ebay every year within 24 hours and only pay another $200 for a brand new fresh kit. It would cost me almost that much to replace most of the parts that need to be freshened up for another season.

I believe the dual bell crank system is still being tweaked, some are asking for it to be spread a little more from the first prototype version. Lipo chassis looks pretty good as well, in general car looks pretty good, but I wonder if this could just be a upper/lower and bellcrank update for current T3 owners. This would make more economic sense at these times, offer something new, for less money than a new kit. Speculation on my part for the last bit.

Yeah, I'm watching...lol

I posted my thoughts on my thread. lol It would appear not much was changed, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I personally don't think a few changes will be a good marketing strat. :p They are going to need something in the kit that will make people want to buy the new car. What I suggested would make me want one. lol

JayBee 09-16-2010 05:51 PM

I'm buying one simply because I have never had an XRay before:sweat:
