Xray T3 2011

The TRF shocks are a joy to work on, not like the xray ones. Can i ask you guys a question about the TRF shocks, there are two sets of pistons in the kit, a black set and white set, which ones did you use and what are the two sets for? I used the white ones as the holes seemed the same size as the XRAY ones, and there was also a set of black pistons in there

white ones always...think they are teflon or delrin....as where the black ones are just standard crappy plastic.....used to use on the corally....because they worked and never leaked.....and nothing is smoother...still like my xray composites though..the flourine coated tamiyas if you can still get are the best around....the hard coated ones are still awesome....just make sure you have a spare set of shaft guides handy as they tend to wear quite quickly....

Not a perfect solution but it does seem to help a bit, but I rarely race indoors anyway. Eventually they wear out as well.
Just in case you're wondering, the camber link ball stud is over 1mm clear of the tape and outdrive.
