I haven't heard of a single broken blade yet...

I just got a picture from Haywood of them installed into his car:

Default exotec chassis

I just ordered the exotec bottom deck, will be interesting to see how it goes. My kit deck is pretty badly worn so hopefully the narrower deck touches down less in high speed corners.

Fred whats your theory here? Lowest point of mass mounted or the Ti are too brittle for bridge mounts? If thats the case would you consider using the Ti on the bulkhead mounts but the steel on the bridges? Same feeling on the lower rc mounts? Ti wont take the shock as well?

Thanks

Default Weight........wait.

Thanks for the input guys.........but due to some of my sponsors there are certain items you mention that I can't run, but can certainly see a trend on some of the items being used to reduce weight.

I believe that they both have advantages on different tracks. The dual is probably a better choice on big flowing tracks, but the single works pretty good on real tight short tracks. Also the single still has that one advantage of a quick adjustment over the dual which requires more time to change ackerman setting.

Its a very nice part and makes the rotated servo job so much easier. I think it will shine on asphalt even more.

Even simplier than that really. Since the screws underneath the chassis always get scraped from dots, barriers and boards and general chassis movement it's cheaper to replace the steel screws and I'm not as concerned with the weight of the steels screws since they are at their lowest point being underneath the chassis.

Just got my exotek t311 chassis.Looks sweet and very nicely manufactored.
Even running the servo the right way.
even Using the zeppin racing steering mount.required a bit of shimming but i still get full lock.
Even made up a pair of tamiya shocks to use and a thanks to craig and kinga for the advice and the know how to do it!!!!

What is the red line at the sides of the both upper deck and chassis?
