Xray T3 2011
#2746

Side Piece Racing Nikita Outdrives are starting to get some adoption in under 1 month of availability. At the 2011 ROAR Paved On-Road Nats there were a bunch of XRays from the 17.5T blinky TC (Steve Sohl) to 13.5T & Modified TC (Randy Bernard) successfully running these new outdrives. I haven't heard of a single broken blade yet...
I just got a picture from Haywood of them installed into his car:

Thanks for the input guys.........but due to some of my sponsors there are certain items you mention that I can't run, but can certainly see a trend on some of the items being used to reduce weight.

I believe that they both have advantages on different tracks. The dual is probably a better choice on big flowing tracks, but the single works pretty good on real tight short tracks. Also the single still has that one advantage of a quick adjustment over the dual which requires more time to change ackerman setting.

Its a very nice part and makes the rotated servo job so much easier. I think it will shine on asphalt even more.

Fred whats your theory here? Lowest point of mass mounted or the Ti are too brittle for bridge mounts? If thats the case would you consider using the Ti on the bulkhead mounts but the steel on the bridges? Same feeling on the lower rc mounts? Ti wont take the shock as well?
Thanks
