Hi guys
I tried adjusting the wheelbase on my t3'11. According to the T3 setup manual there is at least 5mm of wheelbase adjustment available.
I tried to follow the table (below) from the manual to achieve a wheelbase of 256mm.
From what it says I am supposed to use:
1x 1mm shim on the front of the rear arm
2x 2mm on the rear of the arm
However, when I do this there is simply no room for the rear suspension holder to screw into the rear suspension block, it is pushed to far out to screw in.
It seems that I can only adjust the wheelbase by about 3mm... is this true for the T3'11?.... the setup book suggests otherwise.

Thanks for the responses so far guys...
Yep - My T3 manual also says that, but I was looking at the T3 setup book, which is where that screenshot is from - I don' think there is a specific setup book for the T3'11?
Yeah I wanted to adjust the wheelbase so that I could get one of my bodies to fit. The wheelbase was waay out. I'm looking forward to trying out all the other settings.
In the end I was only able to to add 3mm of shims to the rear arm and 0mm to the front rear arm.... this made the body shell (wb: 256/257mm) fit well.

My T3 came with a set screw for the servo. You use a ball end like what is used for the shock bottom. No screw head to get in the way then.

The car setup should come first, then the body. What car was the body on before if it is so far out now?

Yea I definintly wouldn't change ur wheelbase just to get a body wheel archers to fit right because that is a major adjustment. U could cut the archers more or if it's too far off just mount a new body. Not worth changing the car completely just to make a body fit. Just my .02

Build per kit setup. You'll be in the ballpark no matter if you are on carpet or asphalt....
Have fun building dude and take your time!!

When you start bench testing don't be too alarmed if you hear grinding/vibrations when applying full steering lock, its the front drive shafts.
Do check to make sure the nothing is in the way of the belt as always with any build.
To remove the noise you'll want to upgrade to ESC drive shafts or limit your steering rate:

I spent countless hours trying to work out why I was getting the noise!
