I can post some photos of mine later, my link is quite straight and there's no binding. The tammy link is not straight at centre, that's what I copied & it works great on the track, each to their own tho

Check the 2 pictures about the TCX steering system on my T2008.

Just like on the T3'11 mod, the servo linkage should be parallel with the steering posts line (at its end of travel left and right). Being a little angled at the neutral position doesn't really matter.
I also have the same L/R EPA value on the radio.

"Please Juraj, make the T3'12 this way out of the box !"

I'd bet the farm on it, even Martin is running his servo like that. Means a new top deck would be a near certainty too.

I also have a theory that having the longer link which mounts on the far side of the steering rack instead of in the centre like 416 (and others) is actually better. I don't really have any way of proving this, but I now prefer the way my converted t3 steering feels compared to the tammy

Nice conversion btw. Did you know you can use over cleaner to get the anodizing off & then metal polish to bring the finish up?

Thanks ! Yes, I did the conversion on the 2 cars I have. I removed the purple anodization on one and kept the other this way. Some other parts are also purple so the second car looks like kind of hybrid "T2CX" !

I already promise myself to get the next T3 evolution IF and only IF the servo is 90° turned out of the box. Sounds that Martin will help us this way !

Shot taken during the Warm-Up of the next European Championship:

After Martin, even Teemu and Juraj's car shows a 90° turned servo.

Can't wait to see the T3'12 !

If you look closely at Teemu's car in the same album, you'll see something that might be a xray gear diff.

Chassis looks like swiss cheese. Kind of like the Yokomo BD5 and Hot Bodies TCX.

Well I tried inroad last weekend and loved it, I mainly run 1/8 Nitro Offroad, Kyosho, so I wanted good quality etc so I got the t3 mainly for the durability too. Car is good, sucks that I had to buy front and rear driveshafts for the gear diff in the back and the better fronts for no or less shatter. Great build but...

These shocks are JUNK, wow traxxas shocks build better, and x-rays way puts air in the shocks, tons of air in the shocks no matter what, so now I proly need that tamiya air remover tool, if I have to buy tamiya shocks I will sell this take my loss and buy a tc6. If you think these shocks arw good build some kyosho shocks you'll be in SHOCK, that's quality.

Some tips maybe? I have plenty experience building shocks 1/8 and 1/10 off road.

Thanks

Andy

Interesting! I thought when they launched the 2011 they made a big deal about all the chassis they tested and said how the flexy ones weren't as good. Wish I had that deck right now, it looks awesome!
