I will be racing touring cars and F1 cars in a highschool gym this winter. The floor is rubber and I was wondering if anyone has raced on this type of surface before.

No comounds or sprays can be used on the surface or the tires.

Will foam or rubber work better?

Schumacher yellow mini pins work the best of the green rubber gym floor used in all the schools near me (UK) or on varnished wooden flooring.

Never would have thought of pin tires.
I used mini pins on hardwood before.

My initial thought was a medium rubber tire.

They have already run the touring cars with rubber tires and had no problems.

We are not allowed to run any compounds on the tires so as to not leave any marks.
