Anyone run Jacofoams on this car? If so how did you get them to fit? The ones i have are too wide and hit the spindle and also hit the shock when turned.

How wide? 30mm? We run 26mm foams (various brands, not Jacos) all round.

Actually not sure of the width will measure tomorrow. I used to run them on my Xray T2 07.

Good to see Marc back on top at ETS this weekend. He's quite a bit faster than the rest of the field. RedRC says he's using the Raceberry stuff. I'm a little bit disappointed Tamiya doesn't have him testing new things for the 418.

Of course, who really knows, apparently the RedRC guy can only be bothered to take pictures of dudes. Not a single chassis in the gallery.

The special part is the driver, not the car.

Weight is slightly less and the acers are more expensive.

As stated before, the trf ones are great, but when you replace, you can get 2 bearings for $15 or a whole set of ceramics for $80

Unfortunately that has been the norm lately. On one hand we should be thankful for redrc and the coverage they provide with very good race videos on the other hand the pit/chassis photos have almost completely disappeared. If the reason is that the manufacturers don't allow it, it is a bit of a joke, in F1 we have more technical inside info than we get in r/c.

There's some pictures of Marc's car in the gallery now. Looks like a pretty standard affair with the Raceberry chassis.

Is the v5's gear diff with the new bits available as a single unit?

Now that we've got an outdoor track going, the 417 might be useful.

Well since Rheinhard and the tamiya guys are doing really well with the raceberry conversions, when can we expect tamiya to come out with their own version?? Or will it be the 418??
