The feeling I'm getting from some drivers speaking to them is that the 416X lipo car is more or less as good. Mine is very sweet I must say. However got the chance to try a T3 11 - it felt awful in comparison..so different..not sweet at all. But it was very, very fast in laptime. Interesting

Get one from Nexus, have it shipped to me and I"ll build it and I guarantee it will be the best car you've driven!

I would have to say the Xray just might be "the" car for stock. But boy does the Tamiya rock in mod!

Every time I drive some ones Xray I wish I had one as well. Its to much money to have both for me but if I had it I would own both possibly...

I've been trying to justify replacing my 416WE for a 417. I would love to hear opinions from drivers who made the switch (416--->417) and their thoughts.

I drove a T3-11 and it was nice. However, it didn't drive as smooth as my 416...maybe just me being too used to Tamiya cars as that's all I've bought since 1999.

Syndrome, you'll find that the T3'11 tunes very similar to the 416 series, it has similar roll feel and adjustments are the same, AND its build a lot tougher.

How did the TITC team combat the traction rolling? I'm having my own issues regarding traction rolling.

I've already tried the following:

Widening front track
Narrowing the rear track
Raising the roll center (shims under front and rear hinge pin blocks)
Lowering shock weight oil
Lower spring rate
CA'ing the tire sidewall
Front Anti Dive
