Well, if it's the same as the Spec-R, then I already have two of them!...

The diff is a Spec-R diff simply rebagged, much like Tamiya does with Much More products. The gear itself says Spec-R on it.

weak sauce I tell ya. I was soo excited to pick up my TRF gear diff; only to see that it's the exact same as the Spec-R diff I have at home...WTF?? Twice the money for the same thing????

Very disappointed in Tamiya...at least put a damn Tamiya symbol on it!!

I race on a small indoor track would the rear gear diff be worth getting for my 416 we or should I stick with the ball diff. I just hate having to readjust and rebuilt the rear ball diff so often. Opinions are needed? Please chime in.

I use the gear diff with my 416WE on a tight small local track that has no straight....more or less two S turns and it works very well for me. I say you try it. Never hurts to have a gear diff in your stock!
