the novak brushless will work for an endurance race if you put a small fan on the controller and gear the motor nicely. Also try to limit your use of the brakes as much as possible.

If your going to be running stand-up hoods the CS high silver brushes may be the way to go. You can get 40+ run out of them and their not very hard on the comm.

If I would have known brushless was legal... I would have gone for that. But for our enduro.. it's not. Go with the Novak System since you can obtain one.

i have just finished some development for mkyself.
ive got the peak dynasty with the v2 endbell, put bushes in and a 27 turn arm with medium-light spring combo and sprint brushes for 5min racing.
the arm is a monster stock arm, with the fixed timing this should be legal and be way the fastest motor.
i have tried it and its blisteringly fast.
for endurance though i should think it would out run/perform anything else.just put endurance brushes in.

Default correct gearing for my tc3

what pinion do you suggest for a 98 tooth spur, 64 pitch if you're running on a 9 turn triple wind motor?
