Default 4-TEC Forum

Uh didn't see one of these so, figured might as well put one up... 4tec arent Race Ready I know...All they need is a little tender love and care.Quite a few Upgrades and such but after that they are ready to race and they place. Some can even keep up with the TC3's and the XXX's. So here talk about the 4tecs hopefully there arev others beside me...

the 4-tec was actually one of the best RTR car not so long ago. it's not race ready as you said, but it's a good beginner's car. It's extremely durable.

However... bringing up your 4-tec to the specs you described below will cost you way more that buying a race-ready kit, and it might still be less competitive.

The options below ARE a good choice though:

Part #4875-Sway Bar Kit, front and rear
Suggested retail price $4.50

Forget the aluminum and graphite parts, and enjoy your 4-tec as it is for now! The day when you want to upgrade, ask yourself if you still want ot buy hopups, or change cars

Uh well ist kinda like a project car for me like Ultimate Traxxas ...only my own version thx for posting tho
