Any cheaper alternatives to Associated chassis protector?
It's just adhesive mylar, right? Anyone know where to get some cheap?

Clear (or other color) Vinyl Shelf Paper. Will protect from most minor scraps, Does have to be replaced more often if running in rough areas but it is a whole lot easier to work with, doesn't weigh as much and wont arrect ground clerance.

chassis protector
You can get self adhesive protector at an office supplies store that are used to protect sensitive documents. They come in packages of 50 for about $10-$12 (I think).

I just read this suggestion in Radio Control Car Action. Go to a office supply store and buy a roll of self adhesive laminating material. Staples has a 18" x 8 yard roll for $9.55 .

If you really want the cheap one go to your hardware store and ask if they have a bath tub tape for retail. It is some sort of a rubberized thin material w/c will definitely protect your underside..:cool: :nod:
