I bought a 17.5 spec motor at Nor Cal during the Nats to use in my TC. It worked very well and has been very good up here in my club racing.

These are definitely good motors. Very fast, smooth, and tunable. Give one a try. :D

Here is a picture of the Team Powers unique motor cooling system. Instead of blowing air on the motor, it draws in cool air through the cooling end bell and exhausts hot air out of the motor. It will work on a few other motors like the Checkpoint modified motors. I have found that it cools the motors by as much as 15 to 20 degrees.

I have tried it before, this setting should be no problem to work with TP 11.5T motor. Also, the performance is good. Let try if it can help.

-End bell position: +1 or +2
-Gear Ratio: 6.5

Tekin Setting:
-Timing Boost: 36
-Turbo Boost: 15
-Turbo delay: 0.2, if the motor don't get too hot in cold day, can go to 0
-Ramp : 2 or 3
-Start RPM: 3900
-End RPM: 8500, please note high end rpm will make the mid range weaker, suggest not go more than 9000
-Throttle profile:3

I haven't tested it before, but you may try if it works.

I would like to thank all of the Team Powers drivers who worked very hard to make a good showing at this year's Reedy Race of Champions. I would also like to thank the Team Powers motor tuner, Larry Chiu who worked very hard to support all of the Team Powers drivers.

Jessie Starks - Winner of the Open Modified class and ensures Jessie an invite to the 2012 Reedy Race of Champions

very well design motor. Very good RPM and with enough troque to bring you up to the rpm with much lower temp than X12. Highly recommend

Thanks Ashby and Larry Chui. I ran a Plutonium Edition 4.0 with 1 degree of timing. The delivery on the bottom was butter smooth for the infield and the top end on the straight was ballistic.

What is your gear ratio for using 4.0T motor?
