I would like to also give a HUGE THANKS to Steve Ashby and Larry from Team powers for theri support at Reedy this weekend. I have been driving the Powers 17.5 since Steve help me out at Vegas last year. since then it has seen tons of club races, the snowbirds, Carpet Nat's etc... the thing never fell off. Just felt guilty running it so long, so we put a new bullet in for the reedy, and it was a rocket. putting it in the A Main this weekend at Reedy.

Great Motor, Great Price, and even better support.

Thanks Guy's

Norcal Hobbies in CA carries them, or you can PM Crashby since he is the US importer.

Did anyone use the team powers super lite brushless motors? On the Team Powers website it states that it is a 540 can size but the can is 45mm in length. Are these measurements correct?

The measurements sounds good for the old corally c10 wich has very limited space in the pod. (normal brushles motor doesn't fit)

Misfit Hobby in Texas and now CK Hobbies in Kentucky have been ordering the Superlite motors and have said good things about them. I personally have not tested them but I guess I need to try them out so I can speak more intelligently about them. However, do keep in mind that they are not ROAR legal at this time and due to their size, ROAR may never approve them. As James said you can order the motors from NorCal Hobbies, Misfit Hobby or CK Hobbies right now.

Thanks, i will have a look.

In our pro10 class we don't have to run Roar legal motors. We run all kinds of brands as long as it is 10.5t or higher and star wound it is ok. Speed is pretty much the same between all brands of motors when you use dynamic timing esc.

The only question is will the short can result in a shorter rotor and thus less torque then a normal size motor?

I race a 17.5 Plutonium with a LRP StockSpec in 'blinky' mode on a large, medium-grip, mixed layout track. I gear my D3 at around a 3.82 fdr and its fast. Gearing my TP at a 3.40 fdr is fast but temps are at 165+, even with dual fans. Does this motor run hot or is my gearing wayyy off?

Any one with report on 10.5t and set up for RS pro and HW Xerun?

Team Powers is not a legal motor in our championship yet, shame I was looking forward to get one, maybe one 10.5t motor can be sent to our federation (FVRC) for approval for next year listing.

Who looks after these in Europe, I read that they are available in England but where else?

My son has been using 4.0 with the Plutonium on a track with a 135' (41 or 42Meter) straight with excellent results. I have not run the Plutonium yet but with the old motor I am geared 3.9 on the same track.
