Default whats the difference between crc 1/10 gen-x and gen-xl?

im wondering what the difference is between the crc carpet knife gen-x and gen-xl. is the gen-x a good choice for a 1/12 pan car? sorry title says 1/10 but i mean 1/12

the gen xl is the newest one built for lipo 1s racing, I am not sure of all the details but there are some enhancements that supposedly make it better.

ok thanks. im trying to pick one up on a trade for my ft t4 with 5 sets of tires and novak ss13.5

chassis, side links, antena mount, center pivot. if you buy the kit you get the new shock, but if you upgrade the new shock is not a must have. im sure theres more, thats what i can remember from upgrading mine from the x to the xl
