Thumbs up

I've been meaning to give Parma a big thumbs up on their customer service. I sent in a picture of my freshly painted alpha and a picture of it after all the paint peeled off (from the bad batch of plastic) and they promptly sent me replacement bodies to make everything right. I haven't had time to paint them yet, but am definately appreciateive of Parma's efforts to remedy the situation.

Thank You.

I agree the customer service is great at Parma but keep in mind the guys running the show over there are racers like us (Kelly and Paul) and they are very in touch with the racing scene. It's nice to go to the races and see/meet the people you talk to and email occassionally.

I'll be running my new 200mm Alpha this weekend at our Beat the Heat race in Memphis- I'll let you guys know how it compares to the Mazda 6 I've been running.

Tony- got to run the 200mm Alpha this past weekend and it was very good. It felt neutral but the track didn't have as much mechanical traction as I had hoped for so I was looking for traction on both ends of the car. No other bodies I tried felt good so I stayed witht he Parma. Ron Atomic was here and he also chose the Parma. His car was alittle better tuned and it looked realy good. I had no idea where to begin on my NTC3 with low traction so I was still searching for a good setup.

Chicky- you guys did a great job on the 200mm version. Thanks bro!!!

Default 190mm Parma on Carpet

I ran my 190mm Parma Alpha for the 1st time on carpet this past weekend. The body was great. It gave the car a real good balance front and rear. I liked it so much, I bought 3 more, 2 for my nitro sedan amd one more for my electric.

I have had the body on concrete and asphalt and have had great success!! Now that we are getting a local carpet track I will get to enjoy the performance of the body there too!!

Thanks! I consider us very lucky to have a carpet track within a 45min drive. The track will be up and running by this weekend. Its going to be 115x45. I have only been on carpet a few times over the past couple years so this is going to be a treat and a learning curve. Have the Pro4 ready with the Parma Alfa sitting on top!

Ray, the track is AWESOME!!! Can you say, "NO MORE RUBBER TIRES FOR ME!!!" I am hooked!!

We are waiting on the roadrail to come in so we have a makeshift barrier system at this time that works well. As soon as the rail comes in I will get you some pictures.

The Pro4/Parma Alfa combo is as good on carpet as it was on asphalt. I could not be happier. Well, more track time would be nice.
