Default help!!!!

guys!

i've been shopping around for a new kit. at present, i own a team losi xxxs g+, which i have no intentions of getting rid of anytime soon... thing is, i want a new kit to build and race. so far, i've narrowed it down to 2 choices.. the hpi pro 4, and yokomo cgm special. i've read all the reviews. but i want to know first hand from guys who own these cars. i'm from the philippines, and parts support is not a problem here. i just need the info from you guys so i know where to drop my credit card.. thanks!!!

It has been known that the standard carbon fiber chassis tweaks, in the long run or when you crash bigtime. with the exception of BMI and Warpspeed chassis!!! Those are solid as a rock, and does not tweak! And to add to thatthe new Penguin chassis for the TC3.

There is an aftermarket chassis for the Pro4 made by Team PRP! Using that will make your dual deck CF Chassis Tweak Free.

So it boils down to using a TUB chassis!!!! hehehehehe What do we have here, CGM, T1R! But if course you would want a shaft, so it will come down to the CGM!!!!

See ya later!!!

Lem

CONNECTICUT SPEEDWAY: is a track dedicated to 1/18th and 1/24th scale. They are now in Katipunan Avenue in Quezon City, but Maintained the name Connecticut Speedway!

hey brian gomez, I currently run an Mi2, and that is not one of your choices that you are thinking about, but!!!...I have seen the yoks and they are fast. From what I have seen, they are also fast to break. We do however have a noob racer down here who races a Pro4. No, he is not an expert or anything, but I looked carefully at that car, and it is very nice. The drivetrain is amazing, the free-est I have ever seen, and he did no modifying to it to get it like that. I have driven the car, and even with it set-up for him, and that was not very good, the car was still quite stable. I would rather own my Mi2, but if I were to pick a new car (which I will not be in the near future) I would have to consider the Pro4 as a choice. Hope this helps a bit...

misfitz: thanks for the info. i got to see a pro 4 up close, finally! your right about the drivetrain. it's super smooth!! though i have yet to see it run, which i'll be seeing later. hopefully, i get to drive it too.. hehehehehe!! as for the mi2, i really agree it's a great car. the drivetrain is super low.. and i like that. but unfortunately, there is no parts support here in manila....

Chasssis is from WarpSpeed Racing!!! (simply the best)
the aftermarket goodies are from: Shocks are the Tamiya Flourine coated which is the plushest(s.p?) the rest of it are from Lunsford, AE, IRS, Trinity, Tobee Craft and most of it from RC-Square!

Most of it are acquired online, so you could just imagine how empty my pockets are..... !!!!!

Its under going a rebuild,to suit the new Capitol Tracks!

Hope you find a kit soon!!!

Peace to all and Happy Racing!

Good for you!!! You'll find that car very easy to drive and tweak free!!! And all you need are identical springs for all four corners, Pitshop has stuff coming on thursday!!!! That car does not need any hop ups!!!! Its great right out of the box!! I just like to dress up my cars as my saying goes. . . . .
"If you can't be fast....look good being slow!!!!!"

incidentally,Pitshop already have Team Suzuki knuckles for the SD only a FEW units remaining!!!!!!!
