*******Gran Turismo R/C*******
This may sound kind of weird to some of you but I may have found a good training tool for getting into R/c. The ever popular love of my life Sony's Gran Turismo.
My little cousin was asking me about "setting up" a R/C car and I was havin a hard time trying to explain it to him. I was using words Camber, Damping, Gear Ratio; he really had no clue what I was talking about (he's only 8 so cut him a break). When I said I had a "Touring" car, he said "Oh like in Gran Turismo?”…. And that was all it took.
Now the kid is learing all the terminology, how things effect the car, and he is running tests and set ups using the same courses and keeping track of his performance as he changes parts.
The kid is learning a heck of a lot faster than I did. Once his birthday rolls around he might get the XXXS he's askin' for.
I don't know if I can take getting betten by an 8 year old, but I created this monster so I guess I shouldn't complain.
