i have been thinking of getting this car for some time now. How do the bulkheads and motormount hold up with them being made from plastic? Been looking for the much more version but it is hard to get. is it that much better? mainly the reason the i want it and not the monster is the cell cutouts on the chassis. The parts thing really doesn't bother me as I own several OVA's,lol. talk about parts availability. thanks for any comments, i appreciate your time

Todb,

Hi - We've had no issues with the plastic bulkheads etc holding up - the parts seem very strong.

You can also get the bulkheads in a carbon composite too.

Thanks,

Keith.

but the carbon composite bulkhead is 5deg and stock bulkhead is 7deg.
most racers like Team Tech driver uses 5deg's carbon bulkhead.

I personally dont recommend you to buy Much more's kit, since the Original kit comes with the chassis that have no battery slots.
this chassis is way better than Type-S chassis which come with the much more's kit.

Why is the S-type chassis crappy? Just about to get one in two weeks

I'm not saying the S-type chassis is not good. the S-Type chassis is a little bit softer than the original one.
I've been having good result with the original chassis. the chassis makes the car way quicker !!

Hi-brow you tried that tech racing pulley with the rubber o-rings in them, do you know how it exactly works? Also do you know if another manufacturer makes a spool for them?

Yes, I have used the pulley with the rubber o-rings, I guess that is called Drive Limitter.that pulley is adjustable pulley, so you can adjust the pulley all-free through locked (like spool).
when I race at large track, I very oftenly use this pulley.

and the spool question, I asked same question as yours to Tech racing.
the answer was that no one makes the Spool for the Monster. so, you have to glue the one-way instead of spool anyway.....

Default MY02M Build up

Hey guys just installed the following upgrades on my MY02M:-

* Xray type diff
* S-Type chassis
* Front upper arms set

Gave it a run in the track last week, seems like the S-Type chassis made a noticable diffrence in the cars handling. Also added a 2mm spacer in the rear upper arm to make the camber links more parallel, will opt some TRF shocks later on having problems with the original shock (the buttom cap keeps coming loose). Anyway enjoy.

Hi-LowBrow: You got any good set-ups for semi-technical, high grip track? Any hop-ups you recommend? Need to set up the car using Sorex 36R w/C medium inserts. Thanks
