Xrays are over rated..yes you heard me right, over rated,I have 3 of them and they are no better(or worse)than any other TC out their,if you can run 25 laps with your Xray, guess what, you can run 25 laps with any other TC,Every week(well it seems like it)someone has a new "better" than every car out their TC to sell, and they get drivers who could make a brick look fast, win a few big races, and us racers just have to have one..yesterday.. Point is..BUY what you want to,your "new" TC is NOT going to give you any skills you dont allready have..

it took me almost 2 weeks to decide what car i as going to buy (415/t1fk) and i ended getting an T1FK. just finished building the car and i am quite happy with the building process of the car. i realized that it truly was a luxury TC. it was easy to build- parts were an exact fit, drivetrain was flawless.

before getting one i drove one of my friend's FK and it handled quite well the car as very responsive and predictable. honestly while driving it i felt that i could take on anyone. then i drove one of my team mate's 415 and it handled just as well.

you cant go wrong with any of the 2 cars.

if you want to find out more about the 415. research on tech racing's MY02 m-version. its basically the same car.

well, since i am in Hong Kong right now, not every hobby shop sell the Xray, and i asked one of the racer who owns a shop here, he recommended me the TRF...
and i know Tamiya doesnt have as much after market stuff as xray.......
but since TRF is newer. maybe i will take the TRF, its too hard to make up my mind
Are you sure TAMIYA doesnt have as much after market stuff as XRAY?
TAMIYA have their own line of HOP UPS while XRAY has the necessary option parts. Cant remember both company having any after market stuff meaning 3rd party products. But i know i will be wrong though.
