Haven't had a problem with either of my SMC 1 cell packs. Both run like champs!

I've never had and issue with mine. SMC is all I use and I abuse mine! I keep them in my truck shell from 0-100 degrees outside and charge them at 10A. Never had a swell and haven't balanced mine in weeks. I have a saddle pack from them that is over 2 years old and still run it. I'm just lucky I guess.

From what i can see the pricing out of hong kong are you really getting a geniune product or are you getting a ticking time bomb that will eventually take part of your face away when it goes up in flames makes me wonder sometimes .

i've already discharge the battery and charged by storage mode by good charger EVERY SINGLE TIME.
if it need so much work to not letting the battery to expand, i dont think any smc batteries worth to buy

Did you buy your SMC LiPos from overseas, especially from the Far East? It seems to be a common point in the problems with SMC cells - they come from the Far East. Ones from the US seem to be OK, with the ROAR sticker around the edge. Just a thought...
There are not cells that comes from Far East and others from US.All cells are Chinese.
