A question for the tamiya group c owners out there....would a 2c lipo fit the chassis without too many mods? I have a 3900mah with similar dims to a Nicad which fits a F103 Toyota quite well and would like to pick up a re re R91 to use with my standard equipment.

No problem I run 3800 orion carbon style hard case lipos on mine (Just sand away a little on the battery entry and they slip in nice and secure.

Thanks!

Anyone heard about an upcoming Tamiya Honda NSX release. It's on a direct drive bathtub chassis, so another group c possibly?

That's interesting considering all their previous NSX releases were on touring car chassis.

That's what I thought too, I actually had one of the Mobil NSX TA03 kits. Appears that the original was kit 58094, a 2wd group c chassis.

It's a re-release of the 58094 NSX kit, the first road going NSX from 1991. It uses the Group C chassis with red upper plastics.

Hello Guys,

Im reading this topic with such a great pleasure, because I also bought a Mercedes C11, F101.

But are there any upgrades for this chassis, because im reading that you can use a lot of parts of the F104, like engine mount, shock and brace to the engine(carbon)?

But is there a list of these parts what I need?

You can use F104 rubber tires with the C rims (see my car in this pages)
Not sure about F104 motor mount but maybe
Otherwise you don't need any other up grades its a dial chassis as is

Enjoy!
