its probably discussed in this thread, but what would be needed to fit a tamiya nissan r91cp body to a f201 chassis, the wheel base is 280mm fo both, so what modifications are needed thanks

I don't know the with of the 201, the R91 is at least 200mm so the challenge will be in finding the right offset wheels for it. Also the foams on the R91 are quite taller than the rubbers on the 201 so it may look a little funky with small tires/wheels

Some images I've been taking the past two years as homage to on road / F-1 and TCS - enjoy!

It's not a 1/10, but a pic from a few years back of 1/8 Porsche 962 body on a Mugen MRX4. I though you guys might enjoy it anyway.

The Lola Indy Car?

The Lola Indy Car was the F103L not the GT. To run the C11 you would need to change the upper and lower chassis plates, the front bumper, and body posts. The old C11 was based on a tub chassis F101/102 front suspension. Not sure if the re-release was on the 103 or not.

If you actually do have a F103GT then you would need to change out the rear axle assembly, front steering knuckles and axles, and maybe the front bumper. The F103GT ran touring car wheels with hex adapters...the C11 runs the foam tire rims.

For rims yes.
For tires, take pro10 donuts as you have more shores.

The Inspector is right on, between a C group chassis (C-11, Mazda 787B, Nissan R-91, Ferrari GTO, Nissan 240? and the Devil (something) and the F103 GT or the F101/102/F103 (L RM RS an LM) chassis there is very little in common.

I love the group C cars, you can run them on the original foams tires or fit F104 size rubber tires on the original rims and they are good to go! check out the photos I have on older post here. These cars are so easy to dial and fast that we used to beat the F103LM (all powered by silver cans) in our club races at Camarillo, CA

The F103 GT Le Mans (with sedan wheels & tires) is easier to convert to a F101-103 (F-1 or LM) type car. There you cold do some adjustments, adaptations and transplants

My .02 is enjoy the C class!

I bought a C11 body, which I planned to put on my old F101 - just for fun.

But the F101 wheelbase is much smaller than is needed for the C11. So you really need the original tub-chassis to make it work.

Well according to a site I found on-line the wheelbase of the C11 is 28cm. The Lola Indy Car which is built on the F103L chassis (L for long) is just a couple mm longer than 28cm. So if you have the F103L chassis and not the F103GT chassis then you could probably make it work. You would need the front bumper from the F103LM since it has body post positions on the bumper. Then you would need body posts of the appropriate height to mount the body. However it is likely the body mount positions will not be the same so you will have extra body holes in the body since they usually come pre-cut on the C11. I believe the Indy car rims are very close in size to the C11 but you might need to true the tires down some.
