It is the new Rivall prototype 200MM Pro10 body.
I amongst others are testing the body to see how it handles and give feedback to the supplier.
It is the same firm that makes a 1:5 electric bigscale car.

I can see a flood of PMs to F1Paintlab for decal sheet requests with LMP liveries.

I would start a request for the HDi:

or a more subtle Aston-Martin Gulf livery:

Thanks. Here are a couple more pics with the lights powered up :

I'm still looking for single surface mounted CREE LEDs for the side pods - to simulate the "leader lights" found on the LMP cars.

Not much information about it though.http://www.area52.cc/news/3295--toy-...chumacher.html
Love the detail in that...but the proportions look a bit off.

Some great cars here
I`m new to Rc, but i just got a Sakura RCX kit and i have a Tamiya R104 V2 kit on it`s way. I have always loved group C cars, so i would like to have a go at that too. It seems that most of the builds in this thread is based on the Tamiya F103GT chassis. I have searched around, but that chassis seems to be difficult to get a hold of...
Is there any other chassis you guys recomend and where can i get Group C body shells?

Kim

Most of the Group C cars use Tamiyas Group C chassis, which is unique to the Group C cars as it has adjustable wheelbase for the various bodies so longer wheelbase shells like the Mercedes C11.

Most other body makes are designed for Tamiya F103 chassis or most other wide F1 chassis. The modern F1 cars like the F104 are too narrow and too long to fit them properly.

The Nissan R91CP has been discontinued but http://www.rcmart.com/tamiya-84264-n...cPath=420_1167http://www.rcmart.com/tamiya-84264-n...cPath=420_1167

For bodies:
Cross Group C bodies
Various Colt bodies
Nissan R91CP body

Those are designed for the Tamiya F103 chassis, but there is the
ABC GT430 for your narrow F104

Thanks, that was just the kind of information i was looking for

I`m looking for a used F103 type chassis, but it seems to be som many different:F103, F103GT, F103R, etc. What is the difference between those chassis and wich one should i keep looking for?

F103GT - an oddball chassis designed to fit touring car wheels on an F1 chassis.
F103L - a rare Indycar chassis that has a 20mm longer wheelbase.

Everything else is the same chassis, just with different option parts
F103 - basic chassis supplied with body sets
F103RS - basic F103 supplied without a body set
F103RX - basic F103 with link front suspension
F103RM - basic F103 with ball pivot rear suspension
F103LM - Le Mans version, basic F103 but with wider chassis plate
F103LM-TRF - Le Mans carbon chassis and deck, alloy motor mount, link front suspension, ball pivot rear suspension, oil damper
F103R - 15th Anniversary kit. carbon chassis and long top deck, alloy motor mount, alloy servo mount and diff parts, oil damper

Most second hand cars will have various options added to them as well, but all of then are the same basic car.

Always pushing we are starting the class in a venue in the San Fernando Valley, accessible to all greater Los Angeles, CA, USA.

If you are around or coming to visit please let me know.

Glad I'm not the only one who likes Group C/LMP/GTR/etc. I am a corner worker at Road Atlanta and witnesses Scott Sharp's wreck at the Petit LeMans in 2009 from the Turn 3 station. I have a very close match on the body and I'm working on getting Patron decals to make a tribute car. Also bought McAllister 235mm Jaguar and Nissan GTP bodies recently. Bought a Corvette "Daytona Potato" as well. Looking forward to more info and pics on others' work.

Scott
