The front and rear ends are from Tamiyas old F102 chassis so you can run f1 tyres. You can remove the spacers under the pod to run F103 tyres as they are a smaller diameter wheel and tyre than the kit tyres.
F104 wheels and tyres will mount straight on, but F104 rears are narrower so you would end up with the rear being much narrower than the front. The F104 wheels are the same diameter so to get the rear width you can mount F104 tyres on the Group C rims, although if you are mounting Pit Shimizu tyres you will want to cut off the inner flap of rubber that makes it look like a smaller wheel on the F104.

f104 tyres and group c rims is the way to go,f201 tyres also fit the group c rim with a squeeze but are no were near as good if running a hot motor

It looks like a mix between a Porsche 911 GT1 and a Toyota GT One. Nice, have not seen them around here.
You must be a genius to make the F 201 work

We start our club Le Mans series next weekend, I'll post photos.

Cheers and happy 2003 to all of you!

Its an Audi R8C body... never seen one anywhere before though... Tamiya did (does?) make an R8R which is an top prototype from the same era

The Tamiya Audi R8R F103 Le Mans is open copkit, but sure enough the rear of that shell looks like it.

Yup pretty much what I said... the R8R and R8C both ran an Le Mans in 1999 but given the R8C pretty much failed, Audi focused on redesigning the R8R into the R8 and the rest is history

The R8C's pictured no.9 and 10 are the only two ever built for Audi before the project was cut short in favour of the R8,my shell has the wrong number on it which is strange but an easy fix I suppose.
