Subscribed - interested in seeing this as my f201 can use a "new purpose". :-)

Here it is at last
i've had my f201 since 2004 and its had many looks but finally i'm happy with it as a group c or i will be when the decals are finished, i watched the real car earlier this year and i looked amazing. Mines not a quick as the 1/1 but still rapid with the 12turn reedy in it.

the courage in the pics is one i bought yesterday because it was cheap and kind of fit in with the collection sshhhhhhhh the wifes here

Default Something old / new

So you guys know my C11, but I have not posted photos with the driver and more interesting yet with Tamiya F104 original (Option B soft rear and F60 kit front) RUBBER tires.

They are mounted on the C rims and so far feel/look perfect. Test drive is to follow

Notice the door, hood and trunk lines (thin black Pactra stripe tape)

The pilot makes it look more scale.

Notice how the rear rims could be trimmed to fit the exact width of the tire (or can they?)

Looking good? only the test drive will tell.

Front fit as if they were intended for the rim, check out how more noticeable the camber is with the rubber tires

Cheers!

Superb! I wonder how much the full body will improve the chassis handling, although I can see you have it pretty much Hop-up.

Few people have nice things to say about the F201, maybe you found some good purpose for it after all these years. Let us know the drive-ability factor.

(Put some black mesh rims on the Courage.... shhhhhh )

Cheers!

and i've been running kit 104 rubber on my c11 for a year with no issues and they last a long time compared to foams.

Are you racing or just fun driving? Any issues on the tires rubber sticking to the rim?

Thanks for the input

i'm not racing at the minute its been a while due to work commitments but i'll hopefully be able to start again next year,as for the tyres i haven't had any major issues gluing them to the rims and the c11 is a bit of a animal with a 13turn in it and as yet they haven't come off.

That is grand! Mine will have a lot smaller 21.5 geared up to as much it can take. I'll let you know how it went.

The heats for this class at the Camarillo, California track, were we run the C are short five minutes long - so the motor can take a high roll out.

Cheers!

235mm Prototype being tested at the far end of the world, making good progress performance wise and drawing a lot of attention.

Even though this is a rough one from a temporary mold it still paints up reasonable, excuse the phone pics!
