2100Mah Lipo

2100Mah Lipo
Do you think I could get a 6 min heat out of one? I am running RCGT, 27turn stock. I ask because I am seeing them pop up for very cheap, figured a couple charged up for the heats wouldn't be bad and use the 5000mah in the main.

There are several unpredictable factors that will effect your run time. Your best bet is to try out a 2100mAh pack during practice and see if it will make 6mins at full pace.
I know where I race, with my car setup, that I always end up putting around 2100mAh back in my 5000mAh Thunder Power packs.

Well, mpboost is right about practicing. But just to be safe, look into at least 3000+ mAh batts. Reedy makes a 3200, 20C for something like $60, I believe.

I have several 5000 and 5400 lipos, but for $14 shipped seemed like a decent price. Maybe I'll grab one and give it a whirl.

I only use about 1900mA in my TC with a 13.5 brushless in 5 minutes. It's on a large outdoor track, so not quite the current-draw you can get on small tracks. Is it a silver can, or pro-stock type motor?
I'd say silver can no problem, pro-stock may be touch-and-go.

If you're on a budget, just get some hard case Turnigy 5200 mAh packs from HobbyKing.com. They're $23 per pack. Shipping is relatively expensive, though. They've been working great in my Slash 4x4 with a Novak 4.5 motor (used 4600 mAh in a 10 minute main).

Money is not the issue or weight. I just am starting to see these packs popping up for 9.99 plus 4.99 shipping, with multiple purchases I can combine shipping. Just wondering if they are worth my money.

You will have balance problem as 2000 packs are half the weight of 5000 packs.
So if you have money limit go for one good 4000-5000 pack and save a little to get second 4000-5000 pack.
