Go to your local tracks and see what the nicest most helpfull fast guys are running. CRC, Associated, BMI, CEFX, Speed Merchant will be the cars they are running. You can not go wrong with a car you can get help for. :D

Assuming you are from the USA, go with a brand that is made in the USA by a locally owned company. They are just as good or better than anything else and no more expensive. Also parts support should be better as well as technical support.

My understanding is that Associated is now(has been for a while) owned by Thunder Tiger and are now made in china or Taiwan. Nothing against those countries but why not support the companies that are owned by Americans and made in America. There is a few great ones to choose from.

Yep. And to prove I am not too much of a brand pimp, so is BMI. I imagine CFEX is too. Certainly CRC is run by some great guys who really do care about our sport. If possible it would be great to offer some choice. By the way CRC just got 2nd in 1/12th at the worlds! I have see the BMI copperhead and it is a great looking car too.

I think the only place you will find a T bar car is in the antiques section. Right next to the NiMH's:lol:
