Questions?? What do you have to have to race?

If I have a stock car can I race with it or do I have to spend a ton of money to have a shot at winning anything?

I am trying to figure out what to buy. I have a micro T car, all stock, at the moment, but I don't know if I can race it anywhere.

Thanks.

So at this point it would be bad to buy a used car or truck? I have someone that wants to sell me a Traxxas Slash VXL for $150 but afraid it will not be accepted, but really have no idea.

dont buy anything untill ur sure that they have a class you can race it in or else itl be like throwing monew away and still having to bye somethin else.

check the track thread here or a track directory like the one on rccaraction.com to find a track or ask someone at ur local hobby shop they might know of a track neadby sometime the are way off the beaten path

the rustler in not a hardcore race truck but u can start with it to see if you like racing (but thats only if they run a stadium truck class) honestly you can pick up an AE t4 or a Losi xxxT for the same price in the for sale section

Thanks. Are sprint cars something I would want to stay away from or just see if they have an oval track first?

I think the resounding answer is to check what you have locally as far as classes. Find one you like, then buy accordingly.
