I really hate to be the obvious one here. But really they are all the same motor. The only difference is what they do before the ship them out. One minght break the bushing in for only x amount of time while another might do it for y amount of time. They will all be the same. Yes they have dyno number and yes one might say oh this one is faster. But in reality they are the same. I say go for the cheapest and save yourself money. but thats my .0002 cents.

Don't know if this will really answer your question but.......I think you'll find that many of these "tuner company " motors are treated the same way. Lets face it,there's only so much you can do !!. Assuming each company performs the same enhancements on the motor, I think the bottom line will be which company gives you the best service. There are a few companies out there that have had some good results. Putnam, Fantom, Lightspeed, Birdman, Paradigm, Fukuyama and others. Do some research and find out what each company does to their motors. Then take a leap of faith and buy from your best choice.
I'll say this....If Fukuyama gets as much support for their motors as they've gotten for their batteries......the other companies better start trying harder !! I may just have to give them a try.

I would choose the Paradigm only because they include a free set of brushes. I'm sure performance-wise, you won't be able to tell much of a difference in the same motor tuned by different tuners.

Support helps, but you are only talking about a $40.00 motor.
If one stood out as The Fastest you would see everyone using them.
Tuning them your self is the best way. After 3 race days any motor needs to be freshened anyhow. I usually tweak my motors before each main unless my driving is really bad. SO one main and 3 or 4 practice heats and its due for a little cleaning, true the com Check the brushes and springs, and lube the bushings. After about 3 to 5 races (including practice) I can see a real drop off in performance.
Read all you can about stock motors, learn what is important to make them go fast. You will be a better racer. I only buy the non pro motors anyhow. I make them PRO my self by using brushes of my choice, spring tension the way I want it. I align the brush hoods, polish the bushings and shim the arm on every new motor I get.

true...there is no best....all personal choice...ive had experience from one company though(not to be mentioned) that everytime i bought one of there motors( tried 4 total) it was the doggiest thing ive ever had on the track until i put a little TLC into it and it really came to life
