FYI, you listed a lot of things that we do...just how and when they are done is important.

Aligning the brushes, zapping the magnets, replace the arm if it's windings are messy, brushes/springs, timing the brushes, polishing, shimming, cutting down the arm so there is less rotating mass...... and the list goes on....

I know some racers cut down two arms at a time, run-in with one arm and then drop in the race arm with a fresh comm and the brushes are already run-in.

I've tried a lot of stuff and it turns even worse dyno numbers....I can't afford to swap arms (the windings ARE messy) so until I get some change together its a dud....

Trinity can't put together a quality product by themselfs...Therefore I'm not buying any motors directly from Trinity and disencourage people to also.

My dad's going to help me out a bit by lending me of his Monsters (he likes using the Binarys and they are allowed in his class) so hopefully I'll have some decent power. He used it for one run and he wasn't exactly getting motored so I'm gonna tune it and try it

how do you correctly align the brush hoods on a stock motor?

What do you mean by cutting down the arm? Where do you cut?

every Trinity i have bought has been fast...the stock brushes always went in the garbage as soon as i got to the pit area....ever think of buying new batteries? maybe its time you did

True, But the race-tuned ones have all this damned little "secrets" done to them and are THE best ones guarenteed. There is virtually NO risk buying a motor from a tuner such as Paradigm or Team-1

And ottoman, Before you ask because I see you have the attention span/short term memory of a 3 year old....I have $5 in quarters in my hand....I can't get a Paradigm for that

I'm just gonna borrow a motor to run stock class with. Wish me luck.....

BTW: I'm gonna try the stuff on motortuningsecrets.com again on this "loaner" motor....What do you guys think about that site?

That Website has pretty good Ideas But Most is time consuming and at end its not worth it. Also Why bother? If your running "Unmatched" cells, Looks like your not running competitive classes, I would look into buying new batteries then work on the Motors. You can have the fastest motor on the field, the one with good matched batteries and a Decent Motor should Beat a Very fast motor and Crap Batteries.

Ariel, unmatched batteries these days are actually pretty good. Look at Dave Franklin, he runs unmatched cells and is awsome.

Might be True But he Might be replacing them every once in a while. Don't Matched cells Last Longer than unmatched cells? In the end buying matched Cells might be cheaper. Also you can get matched 1.16's for like 35$. Unmatched cells run for what $20-$30(the ones my friend baught) and the voltages are like 1.15's.
