Team Associated TC6 Thread
Thanks Yodog. I got the droop set along with ride height its ready to rock this weekend. I think I'll be picking up a new chassis to go under it.

Noob problem with steering on my tc6. Ive tried 2 servos and both do the same thing. The problem is after turning left and releasing the transmitter wheel the tires look straight and are. But, when i turn right and release the tires are aimed right just a little. So when driving the car it tracks straight for 10 feet or so then pretty dramatically strays to the right. It is very unpredictable to drive. Any advice?

Thanks guys, i'll try polishing. Everything seems pretty smooth with no restrictions with the servo disconnected.

if you are using a plastic servo arm, I'd replace it with an aluminum clamp style horn to eliminate any slop on the servo splines.

I usually buy the generic arms off eBay, only problem is they tend to be a little long and might need to be trimmed to clear the upper deck and/or trim the upper deck to make it fit. You'll need to order the right arm with the correct spline count, for example, my Turnigy 1251TG servos use 25T splines:

Tekno has some narrow aluminum horns to better clear the upper deck, however you'll need a Tekno ball link assembly instead of a threaded ball stud:

I think i got it figured out. The pin inside the cvd was backed out a little, causing chaos. Thanks to my off road buddies at my local track today!!
Rear end super loose tc6.1 wc
I have a tc 6.1wc that I race 17.5 touring on outdoor asphalt. Car is set up as per manual. Rear end has absolutely no traction. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

What tires are you using?
Tire prep?
The most common issue I have seen when helping other drivers get their car sorted has been improper droop settings.
One simple test would be to back off your droop screws until they are flush with the bottom of the lower arms. Confirm your ride height is about 5mm all around then drive the car around the track.
If the rear traction comes back, you have found the problem. another thing would be incorrect caster due to confusion with the "c" hub inserts.
TC6.1 pulls hard to the left when I punch it ???
I noticed when I accelerate my car pulls to one side. So much so that it will even sometimes spin out. My LHS shop looked at it but couldn't figure it out. It doesn't seem to be the steering servo as it doesn't do it when I gradually accelerate.
Recently, I was holding my car and I noticed the front, right CVA bone was wobbling when I increased the throttle. So I replaced it with a new spare I had. The car still seems to pull but not as much. Could this be the issue or am I imagining it got better? Any thoughts as to what will cause this and how to fix it ?

Could be anything from a seized bearing on one side to poor setup... Etc. Just need to take it apart and inspect every little component for signs of wear
