I had my T2 setup with a 96/43 (3.8) with 45 degree timing on the motor and it was very good. Wondering if I should try to keep it as close to that setup as I can with the TC6.1

I'd rather hear from guys that already have raced with the TC6.1 before I make a decision.

Thanks.
PM me your email address and I'll send you my Snowbirds set up.

last week i got a virus on my computer when visiting rcmushroom, so havent checked your links, and i dont recommend anyone to visit mushroom now (unless you are surfing from a apple computer/device)

most setup systems do a good job, just buy the one that you feel fit your needs (colour/price)

In my opinion, use the setup system is not essential, i use it rarely to re-check my seetings, so you can use other tools to set ur car:

* Camber: camber gauge to onroad 1/10 scale y think
* Tweak : Check the thread "ask keven hebert" he explains how to check if your car is tweak or not

Perhaps is useful to check front toe, it depends on your money and options...So in conclusion, yes 3 Racing offers almost the same precision of hudy i think....

Best Regards.....

I've been using the setup station and really like it. It's Freaky how close this to to the Hudy system but at a fraction of the price. As far as Im concerned it's a great investment

Hi y'all.
Thanks for your input. I'm going for the 3 Racing setup tools.

One other, somewhat odd, question.
Does anyone know if the springs of the Corally RDX PHi'09 fit on the shocks of the TC6.1?

Hi guys, I'm looking at upgrading to a tc6 or 6.1, is there any real benefit of the 6.1 over the 6? Is there still a good parts supply for the 6?

Default TOP DECK FLEX

Hi y'all,

Can the screws in the topdeck of the 6.1 be used for flex tuning?
Screws in stiffer, screws out more flex, and so on.
Which screws to do what with to accomplish what?

Any experience?

Or is the topdeck of this car not meant to be used that way?

And how about cutting the topdeck to get more flex to have more grip under low grip circumstances?
If an option, where to cut it? Dremel the material off that is in between the fork in the back?
Or in the front where there is a hole and cut the material out that's in front of that?

The blanc setup sheets have no option to fill in a category on topdeckflex.
And the manual doesn't say anything about it.

I saw the same thing. I have to think what he meant was 1 degree toe out. The rear indicates +3 degrees so I have to believe he meant negative to mean toe out not toe in the way the setup sheet diagram indicates.

If you look at the Arm Mount shims it gives you toe in on rear what her has referd to + toe so he must mean toe out -1 on the front.
