Default front Blade issue

Does anyone else have issues with the front blades on the TC5 upon front end impact when using a front spool. And does anyone know if the TC6 have the same design as well?

No issue with my TC5r but I'm using the slipper spool.

What issue are you having?

The TC6 uses the same setup as the TC5 when it comes to the blades. I'm cheating with building the diff and slipper for my TC6, I'm just swapping the outdrives and rings from my old TC5 slipper and diff to be TC6.
The TC6 outdrives are a black alloy instead of the blue alloy like with the TC5

The front blades would break if you make contact with anything. On our local track where we used Road Domes, it wasn't an issue. But I went to a race last year in Regina where the track was big, fast and smooth, using 2x4's, any impact on my car wasn't very forgiving.

Not sure the difference between the tc5 and the tc5r but I havent had any problems and havent broke any since I have owned it..... I run a solid axel in the front and everywhere you read it says you will break blades all the time.. But yet to see it.

I've broken a dozen or so blades with a solid spool in my TC5 but don't crash and you have to replace them.

So far it seems like I've got the one TC6 kit that has no problems, no problems with the uni's.

Shocks, diff's, uni's and links done.

I use that plate to make sure I don't loose any of the parts. I haven't eaten all day because of this car.

Exotek TC5 next to the TC6, the TC6 chassis is narrower.

I ran into a slight problem with a bulkhead on of the chassis screw holes had no thread, a quick trip to the hardware store and $17 on a new tap later it was fixed.

It is a rather sexy looking car

Battery fitment test.

3 of the 4 screws for the battery strap tape were missing, thanks fully I have a container full of spares. To save some time I took the rear posts from my TC5 as I use the Yeah Racing body post thingy's.
