Once again, this past weekend we had a race so I got to try HSR and non HSR modes.
Helios in 75Mhz
KO 2144 as steering
KO 2173 as throttle
Car: MRX3
Setup: Same
Result: Very little difference, noticeable but it wasn't easy for me to tell the difference. And we can talk about numbers...blah blah blah, but it's ther result that counts right? Result is I pulled pretty much the same consistent lap times in both modes. So with or without HSR, I don't think it makes that much difference in your lap times. It's something my radio is capable of, something to talk about, probably for some to brag about. Now, in the winter, I'll try both modes in 1/12th carpet, I would think it'll make more an impression on 1/12th then on 1/8th. We'll see.

seaball, I have no facts proving the transmitter/receiver time is faster but I DO beleive the response time between the two is. I mean we are talking old technology and now DSL can move at 3MBps YELLO! It may not be much where we can feel it but then again it's that little something some racers need-know what I mean.

I tend to say, that if 300$ burns in the pocket, then maybe upgrade radio.... But if one already have a nice radio, I would spend the money somewhere else. Like on new batts, a good setup system, or maybe even on the girlfriend
