Questions?? Foam wheel for WGT car??

Hi
This has probably been asked a million times..

I am in the market for som new wheels for my WGT (XRAY X10 link).
I have now the wgt spec wheels from BSR(lilac?) and I want a set of wheels with more grip in the rear.

I have found the xceed line of wgt wheels but I do not know how to choose..
pink, double pink and so on...

I have been searching and I think the the pink is the softest compound. So if I put them on in the back should I go for pink for the front too???

Also if there is a list that shows what shore the different color represent that would come in handy too.

Thanks!

Background we run outdoor on asphalt with no tire additive and no surface prep. We run 2cell lipo with 5,5T motors.

Make sure you check with whoever is running the race...WGT classes usually use a spec tire and don't allow you to use anything else.

We don't run a spec tire for WGT in our series (FSEARA). Most people here run Purple fronts and pink rears.

purple - front
pink/gray - rear

They (local tracks across the country) need to bring F1 back, open wheel racing is pretty exciting.

F1 died many years ago around here. Still have my Tamiya F1 for the 1990's hanging on the wall.

Are you not allowed to use any Tire Additive?

And if not, you might consider going to a 10.5 or even 13.5 Motor and the heaviest (as in weight) 2s LiPo battery you can fit in your car. With that much Horsepower and no Tire sauce, diff adjustment and uniform/equal Rear Tire Diameter, along with basic setup will be critical.

Maybe John Stranahan will "Chime In"?

That's a good idea. OR if the sell Goop (a hand cleaner) without pumice. All this does is clean the tires. You put it on and take it right off. The towel will be black with dirt.you can even use this indoors on carpet.
