hyperion 720i net3 v2 is that the best charger overall?

Hi Guys
I'm looking for a good accurate balance charger and from my findings overall Hyperion 720i net3 v2 charger looks like the best option by it's price, quality and capabilities....
What are your thoughts about it?
Should we wait for new lrp "touch" screen charger or is there any other real good options?
Thanx in advance

I would recommend a thunderpower 610, i have 2 of them and they work great. One nice thing about them you can charge at 10amps!!!:nod:

I've got a first gen (I think) Hyperion 720i and am pretty happy with it.

Can do up to 20A and big packs if you want. Can also link 2 of them together for charging and balancing multiple packs.

You need to pay attention to the balancing plugs on your packs and get the correct balancing board adapter if you go this route. The temp sensor add-on is nice insurance too. I stick this in my charging sack and if the temp goes over 50 degrees Celsius charging stops.

I bought the 720i net v2 based on a weeks of research in the heli forums. Very glad I did. I found the IR measurement and TCS facility very useful indeed.

Heli pilots are very demanding of their lipos and chargers and rate their reliability and accuracy highly.

As you are already considering it, I would say go ahead with the purchase

You cannot overlook the ichargers. Also highly rated. Amain Hobbies have the same chargers but relabelled as ProTek. Very small in size but also very powerful with excellent features. It's on my list. Only downside is that you need a good power supply.

Yes the price is very good for the features and small size.

I came very close to buying an icharger but deeper in the heli forums (was a long thread) quite a few many people had software and hardware failures and also calibration problems. A number of posters said they were relieved they kept their Hyperions

Obviously not everyone will agree or have problems and I'm sure buying a Hyperion won't immunise you from getting a fautly product but this is what I found in my research and I do think its fair to mention this
