the shock tower seems like the same as the 2nd batch of s400 (JAAD design). the rest of the suspension parts (ie, arms, uprights, hubs, links, shocks, etc) seems like the same S400 parts, which is a very good news for S400 users as spare can be available again...

just contacted the local distributor, let see when this coming by...

I have heard that there may be a prototype to play with fairly soon... and that the final car would be out before the end of the year. Things like this a never set in stone and it is usually finding things that work better or fixing problems that delays new products from being released. I wouldn't complain too much if it takes a while to turn up as it will only mean the kit package is fast.

It's been said many times why that happened before. Parts support is not an issue with the other cars and won't be with this car.

Serpent makes awesome stuff, they're problem is supporting the product.

I would absolutely buy one of these but based on the 400 if you break your done

Ive been able to get s400s for about $110 a piece recently - all the parts support i need.

I am weary of what will happen with the s401 but based on how well they are doing supporting the 811 and s120 I think theyve made a turn around.

They sure have IMO. That's why the s120 has been ordered and the s401 is following it as soon as it gets released

Parts support will not going to be an issue once the car is out, what happened before is a complicated story, but now that they have re-organized I will guaranty that parts support will be second to none.

I don't disagree that PARTS SUPPORT will be there. My only concern is when I get the car....where is the S401 product support (ie- getting the car dialed in) going to be?
