That body looks really cool!. Aren't you afraid to destroy the body on a carpet track? You don't want to hit barriers with that body

Here is my Peugeot 905b medium downforce in BMW V12 LMR colors. It is a shame that the medium downforce is not made anymore.

Default No problem :)

I won two races of two I did with the body, i have not yet touch the border So all is fine later i used only 200mm body (and chassis of course ) because to have the same possibilities like oponents. Well i won another two of two races

BTW your body looks really cool Do you participate in the rc lemans series? I would like to take a part in some race in germany

I did read it on the corally website (assuming that is you on the pictures?). That chevron body you use looks cool as well.

3 years or so ago i did drive the rclemans but back then the pro10 races were not that many. One of the circuits they vissit, Bad Breisig (DE) is really a nice circuit. We stayed there with a group of dutch drivers at an hotel almost right next to the river Rhein that runs through a valley. Man that was really a nice view. I still have very fond memories of that weekend even though my driving at that time was less then desirable .

This year i already had a lot of races to go to with the club races, National Championships and some other races and private life. I didn't have the time for it. It is a very cool race series though.

Next year we might go to the German Masters Pro10 with a group of Dutch drivers. Should be a great weekend.

I was supprised to see some using this thread I started over a year ago. In our series I'm usually the only Corally 10SL. We have two others but one switched and the other comes out this time of year.
My biggest problem is how heavy the car weights. I've been on a weight reduction program. I've presently got the c ar with out the body weighing in at 31 grams. Add the body and I'ver over weight by 3-4 grams. While my team mate with a different brand has to add weight as does most of the other brands. There is not anything more I can do.
The standard bumper is lighter than the carbon fiber bumper even with some foam added to save the body.
I've put the smallest front servo JR
Replaced the center shock to a Hotbody
Chopped the top place
Novak Edge and now the Novak Havoc ProSC (The Edge made car weight 30.8 grams)
Changed the Life battery to the Novak Booster
Tires jaco Purple fronts and Pink Rears cut to 2.20"
Motor -went to a lightened endbell (Trinity D3)
The car does work very well and loking forward to next Sundays race on Carpet!

The 10SL was designed to run in the world gt class as well as being able to withstand the rigors of 2S 6turn delta modified power.
Because of that it is made a little heavy

If you run solely in the World GT class with your car, you could dremel some slots in the main chassis to further reduce weight.

First of all the car was and is marketed here in the USA as a World GT car. We race single cell and a GT body. The Motor is a 13.5. But Corally built the car for you guys over seas. They need a thinner chassis and battery plate
motor plate . Probably a 2.5-2.8mm.
I'm a diehard Corally driver and the only constant Corally World GT driver(florida state series) here in Florida. This is the heaviest car in this class even with what I've done to lighten the car. My car weights in at 31 oz with out the body and ad 3-4 oz with the body. That's about 984grams compaired to by team mates car( a different brand) that has to add weight to make it 930 grams.
Oh and there is no way that I'm going to dremel some holes in the chassis. I've never done that in the past and I won't do that in the future.
