SXX Comp and TC Version 2

Not V1
For 1/12 10,5T I would highly recommend using a SXX Stock Spec. This will give you the power that you need and is way better suited then a normal SXX.
But it seems pretty clear, at least to the way I read it, that the Stock Spec is still superior to the SXXv2 for Stock Spec racing.

And according to the instructions of this SXX v.2, when running value #0 (for mode 3, no "BOOST"), my only adjustments are MODE.2 ("FEEL") & MODE.4 (Autobrakes).
I promise to find out what I can....

Hi,
Posted this in a few places but had no reply
Just got a SXX V2 and a X12 (13.5t) to try. I'm looking for some fdr's for an outdoor track with a 45m straight and the rest is open and fast flowing apart from a chicane and a indoor carpet with a straight about 2/3 of the outdoor one but the rest is tight and technical.
In the X12 instructions it recommends starting at 6.0 also the motor came with the oooo insert but says use the standard to start with. So what should I use oooo or oo ?
It also says don't use profile 7 or 8, I presume that also means don't use 9 or 10 ?
What are safe Boost settings to use witha X12 13.5t ?
Does Feel make any difference to motor heat and top speed ?
Thanks.

The new SXX TC spec version 2 did not work very well for me using a 17.5. Ran it for about 5 laps, was noticeably slower (with factory settings) than my SXX Stock spec version 1 (also with factory settings), using a X-12 17.5 with 0 timing.
Put the SXX SS back in the car, will wait for the version 2 of the SS.

Mike: I have a tekin and a r/c dynamics booster, it rocks!, for 1/12 works perfect

I read that to say that the sxxss is better than the v1 tc spec for stock not the v2

About the ESC's in this thread:
LRP SXX Competition Version 2 Brushless ESC (manual)
LRP SXX TC spec Version 2 Brushless ESC (manual)
I bought my SXX Version 2 a few weeks ago and noticed there is a supplementary manual included in the box, which is not present on the ESC's web pages, as of now. So, for those looking for additional info and those who like to store their manuals digitally, like me, I've scanned the supplementary manual and uploaded it:
LRP SXX Version 2 supplementary manual
Most importantly it includes guidelines concerning cut-off voltage/feel/boost/drag-brake settings for the various classes.

Can anyone tell me the length of the sensor wire that comes with these ESC's? In particular the SXX Competition V2.
Many thanks

Sean C, LRP,
Any insight as to when we would be able to upgrade our new Version 2 ESC's with newer profiles via the LRP Website???
There has been speculation of potential upgrades already taken place on the Version 2 SXX Esc's.
Could you comment or clarify ????........... any information would be appreciated ............. Thanks

To do the updates, you'll need the optional USB-Bridge (#81800). If all goes as planned, this device will be available by late November. By the same time we'll then have a small update available online.
