Good info SNR, I didn't know there was something softer than the red "OFNA" springs for the DM-1. I'll have to try those next time. It's all about trial and error. I'm liking my PMTs but if it stays this cool, it may take awhile to get those to warm up and provide the traction they are know for.

I'll carry along my Sweeps also since those seem to warm up a lot sooner. Is the track usually sauced up in Corona? I hope this weather works in our favor.

Has anyone tried using the wider offset 17mm hex drive +1mm, +1.5mm or +2mm or their GT8s. If so, any improvement in handling?

I plan on Corona as long as the weather holds, carpool from SD?
SNR, Steve recommended for diffs:
front 30k
center 120k
rear 10k

As for shocks, I'm still running whatever came which according to the manual is #80, I'm assuming 80 wt.

well if you run the wider rear offset it will give you more steering.

70% chance of rain does not look good for Corona.

Stop crying Bro, you'll wet the track!!!

Damn....this really sucks!!! It's not suppose to rain in Southern California. Well, I'll be in Murrieta visiting family. So if it's dry, I'll be there. If not, I'm going shopping that's an awesome LHS. Either way, I'm getting a R/C fix that day.

I'm bringing my Slash 4X4 as well but I'm running a MMPro, I may have to do some waterproofing. I may pick up that new Traxxas 1/16 Rallye R/C. Looks like fun.
