I don't believe so but some of the ones I got (SM1 &13) don't have rear wheel wells shown on the body so they might. What's the wheelbase and I will check tonight. Any of the cars the look like real 1:1 cars will not.

They allow those body in TX I don't think they will allow those bodies here in CA. I have one of those body but have not painted because I don't think it will be fair.

Either one of those wouldn't be fair against the PF8. But if I had alot of guy's like you all around here I wouldn't want to drive them either because I like a somewhat level playing field.

The rules didn't say anything about running stock chassis.

The draw to this class has been the realistic bodies that represent real GT cars. I think we should try our best to stick to those bodies.

If we all start running Lola shaped bodies then we might as well be running 1/8 scale on-roads.

So lets strive to keep with GT bodies of real cars, and ones that resemble the actual car.

I have a question for everyone.....

My company is in the process of getting licensing for two existing GT cars currently competing in the Super GT series in Japan. The deal is coming together and I have found our manufacturer. Question is, would more people like to see the GT1/DM-1 Spec/GTP2 wheelbase or the GT2? I have a feeling sales would be better to go with the shorter wheelbase. The mold fees are very expensive, so the same design in two different wheelbases is not do-able.

Any input is appreciated...

There is more short wheelbase car out their then the long wheelbase, plus you have all these other guys that has their buggys that they are converting to BL to run in the GT class.

Just my .02

I like the look of the GT2 / 260mm wheel base because it's more to scale...

Nonetheless, I have to agree with Steve/ SNR, more cars are on the buggy 220/230 mm chassis.
