+1 BBB

I ran Nitro GT for 3 years and recently switched to Gte

I'm running a Tekin 1700 KV 5 Cell and I have set punch control up to 50 to avoid wheel spin. Im running LiFe batts which are lower voltage than 5 cell LiPos.. nonetheless the car runs strong.

Gearing I am running stock centre diff 48T with 20T pinion. Im going to pick up a 24T and 26T pinion soon. I will most likely turn the punch control down to 20s..

I myself don't see a need for 2 speed on these cars.

Im using the Inferno VE mount.. Where did you get the 26t pinion?? And how are you keeping the ipanemas on the rim with the 6s? I could never manage to do that lol.. And yea with the gt2s diff gearing on 6s would ANNIHILATE the Vorza with same gearing.

Current record in our little group is 91mph!!

Oh nice, I didn't know that mount would fit. Is it a direct fit ?.

What are you using for the battery tray ?. Wonder if I can use the vorza battery holder. I usually lay into the throttle slowly lol.

Do you have pics of your setup ?

Orion "8" 2050kv

Thanks Raman for the link.

I will try single speed, but with the tranny I'm pretty close
FDR tranny 5.12
FDR diff 4.79 (24/46)
Using the tranny with 22T would be roughly the same.

Anyone thought using the 40T spur ? I think Hobao has them.

When going to higher gearing like the 26/46 is there a threat the motor to overheat and loose power (and eventually break?) I'm having low temps with a tranny.

Do those guys in your link make the 30t pinion? That would be awesome!!

Also Vision how did you like that wide stance with the extended arms you had? Stability wise

I see you're used the original steering rod in your car. I did the exact same thing. The kit only came with one tie rod and nothing else. Lame!
