I am really impressed with the Exotek USGT wheels. I ran some Tamiya wheels and then some Ride wheels, which first got wobbly (especially the Tamiyas) and then cracked. Exoteks have taken a beating and are still true and crack-free.

Thanks for the feedback on the Exotek wheels. Quite a few folks that I know have had issues with the Gravity wheels cracking. Will try Mike's wheels next.

some wheels I got from RCMart work really well and I think that racevta site sells them, albeit less amounts than RC Mart.

Rcmart have thousands of different wheels; could you be a bit more specific?

I think mine were a bit different spoke orientation but from what I told they have been durable and cheap, and so far so good for me, no complaints.

I think the only difference between the rims racevta and rcmart sell is the former is for 4 wheels for the price, the later for 8.

I had a pack of those on order with a group order in our club, until I was reminded the group order was for TQ Racing, so now I have to make a separate RC Mart order... Again

I'm giving my mail man a Tim's card for all the boxes and packages he's having to constantly deliver to me

funny they do!

they also have these rcmart ones up on ebay too, and i think some places in the USA as well.

Shipping when I ordered from overseas was quick and I think some places I have heard buy a bunch for the track.

Anyone got pictures of the "hard" wings mounted to the mccallister corvette?

Looking to put one of those on mine, just not sure what gives the best look.

Ah, those wheels! I almost ordered those for my 17.5tc cause I hate the look of dish wheels. Crazy good price, and I have also heard that they are durable. mI'm sure the exotec wheels must be the same wheels with a different label on the package.

I made the comment to MikeR of Exotek about a year ago regarding the resemblance of these wheels with his. IF I RECALL CORRECTLY, he said that they were made in the same molds that his are, but the Exotek wheels are a different plastic.
MikeR, if you are monitoring this thread, please fix any errors I might have made.

And if you live east of the Mississippi, RaceVTA.com ships very quickly and you won't have to wait as long (but TQRCracing.com ships very quickly as well).

I'm new to r/c car racing and our local track has a decent sized USGT class that I'd like to participate in so my question is if the 3racing Sakura Zero would be a decent chassis to start with?

I'm trying to stay on a budget and am more concerned about improving my driving skills than reaching the podium. A friend recommended possibly starting with a TC4.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
