wondering if there are any good setups for the 6.2 in this class

Hey guys. we are starting a usgt class at our local track and i was wondering about the wheel rule. the tires are 24mm. but a 26mm wheel will fit. so either ok or on 24mm is allowed?

Bummer that the spec tires don't work well on a 26mm wheel, cause they fit on a 26mm wheel just fine.

i will say after trying tires on both 24mm and 26mm wheels... they work much better on the 24mm. the 26mm streches the rubber to much and makes the edge of the tire more square. it was much less consistant in the corners

I have to differ because I've been running on 26mm for a year now and they work better for me then 24mm. I think the 24mm have too much flex along with they aren't very durable. Plus I like the Hpi wheels.

So I just got the chance to look at my car after last weekends run. Im glad to be racing on carpet. If I raced on asphalt, about 5 mm from both sides of the chassis would be gone. I noticed my car had some excessive lean especially in the sweeper, but it was running just fine so I didn't mess with it. Needless to say, I will be looking for a way to tighten the car up without altering the way it feels on the track.
