Default Serpent 411 FF

It looks like a very nice kit, but you don't hear much about it (or nothing I could find) and saw that the weight difference allowed for FWD in USGT, I guess on a tight track with a lot of turns it could be good.

They are pricey though (esp just to 'try it out'), and I don't see ANY used ones out there.

Thanks,

-Rich

Not quite ready to race since I still need to trim the fenders a bit more, but here's my Protoform Camaro for USGT. Wanna guess my paint scheme for my VTA?

Just noticed the front of the rear fender is tucked in onto the tire in this pic. That'll get trimmed before I race it.

The wheelbase is a bit long for my TC6, but it works. I'm also running 3mm offset wheels as it's shown. I'm really diggin' it....

Here is a photo of two "rattle can" bodies I just finished over the weekend.

Where'd you get the Whelan decals? I used to see Sonny Whelan at Road Atlanta regularly and I still see Eric Curran and Boris Said.

HPI #17218 - Nissan 350Z Greddy/Twin Turbo Body (190mm)

PAINT (Scheme:Falken Tire - http://falkentire.com/community/motorsports)
- No. 28114 Testors/Model Masters (Lacquer) Tropical Turquoise - 1957 ((799AB)
- RC252 Pactra Blue Streak
- RC251 Pactra Sprint White (used as backing for Blue Streak)

Decals
- HPI decals included with body
- HPI paint mask template (Project HPI Team Falken) - http://www.hpiracing.com/news/2009080701/
- Sponsor decals sourced from local graphics company

Notes
Since I only use rattle cans, Tropical Turquoise was an okay match. Under bright sunlight, both the blue and turquoise look much lighter. I tested Tamiya TS-41 Coral Blue (Lacquer), but it was too blue. I also tested Tamiya PS-54 Cobalt Green, but it was too green & dark.

He guys. Kind of new to gt scene but what wheel offset do you guys run. My track width is.187. I know join makes crazy offsets but they're all 26mm. I tried Ebay and local shops like tq or speedtech but of no chance. The only offset I saw were Tamiya with +2 24mm. Is there anymore companies making wider offsets? Thanks

HPI has +3 in most styles. They also used to have +6 in some of their wheels as well.

In any case, I run 200mm bodies and zero offset wheels in a lot of cases. It doesn't look that bad.

Very good for USGT. One of our local hotshoes uses one and a TC3 and he dominates with them.
