I don't blame you. I would never expect a track to be that small either.

We have a tiny asphalt track built into the city park here. It's about a 8 second lap. Can't complain, it's free for the public and fenced in against walkers.

Maybe more style than performance. Would be nice to make the amg replica gt3 car.

I'm not surprised......when is the last time you saw a Mazda Concept car on a racetrack?.. feels more like a marketing exercise for Bitty than anything I'd want to put through competition.
It doesn't even inspire any detailing projects for me personally. From 1 - 10 , I rate this body a "Meh".
I think it'll be more popular in the Drift crowd - and if produced in the larger scale - for the "straight-line" speedsters.

From a positive perspective - they did a very faithful representation of the scale car - and in its own frame of reference - looks very cool.

IMO, it is a great representation of a concept car that's been around for a few years (as Simple said). Heck, I understand that it's on Gran Turismo. However, after the stink about the Furai (that WAS a real car until a certain English car TV program burned it to a crisp), I haven't found any evidence that the car shown at the Tokyo Auto Show was more than a rolling body. None has ever been seen running/moving under its own power. Again, IMO only, approving this for USGT would be a violation of the rules as they are currently written (don't reply of you haven't at least READ the rules!). Secondly, I don't see this body offering a performance advantage over the currently listed bodies

I assume you are referring to this rule. Most if not all of the Exotek, Bittydesign, Zoo Racing bodies are (extremely) loosely based on real cars, but they are not actually cars.

Still don't think that is the point however.

In defense of Bitty's presentation - they are explicit in stating that it is an "exercise of style", as opposed to having true competitive aspiration.
In simple terms - they wanted something to look good - not necessarily go good. Target concourse as opposed to podiums, if you will.

Pretty sure most of us in this forum lean more heavily towards the podium - while keeping one foot in the "looks" dept.

My good man, this class veered off course a long time ago… it’s not even worth arguing if a new lookalike body should or should not be approved.

heck.....I am just happy someone is trying to keep the class strong with awesome bodies that look real and give the rc enthusiast a nice choice....:nod:

Second, hats off to Bitty! That’s a beautiful design and another great option for those who want to build and race a USGT car.

Third, after first seeing the body, reading on their website how they arrived at the design, and my knowledge of the cars competing in the Global SRO GT Challenge Series, I can safely say the body is based on the AMG GT3. Their website actually says it’s inspired by a GT3 car, so yes it is based on an existing vehicle.

Again, it’s great to have another beautiful replica GT body available and I hope to see them on our grid soon. The BWOAH! looks and performs great but so many people are using it, USGT is starting to look like a one make series. Just my $0.02.

Interesting theories....-I don't think its is a very "safe" conclusion that its a Mercedes.:lol: Hint: Even the name Bitty gave it (Ahura) is a truncated anagram of the aforementioned Huayra

Kind of reminds me of a Viper Body my son ran in USGT a few years back.

Ahrua looks more like the RX-Vision than the Agata looks like any particular Lamborghini.
