From the rear... 110grams(2grams in stickers)...I guess this body will always make minimum weight....

why does it matter what any other racers car look like ? Does it effect your happiness to see a car without headlights? Obviously you have bigger issues to worry about if anyone’s body bothers you or what it looks like doesn’t fit you opinion. I have never looked at someone’s car and thought oh my god it doesn’t have head lights or a grill . When I’m at the track I’m just happy to be playing with my toys and to have a place to play with them .

It's in the rules that I race under that headlight stickers or equivalent paint must be present or the driver will be disqualified. What annoys me is when rules are selectively enforced, I've seen top drivers at big events blatantly get away with it while others get penalized.

IMO, this all begins at the club level. Clubs are notorious for their indifference to class rules. This teaches racers bad habits and creates conflict.

I'm a newb, and when I went to my first "official" race I didn't know what the hell to do because I suddenly had to pass tech. Fortunately (or unfortunately) this was club level tech and so not very strict. I was still scrambling though since I wasn't used to it.

Yes, this is a fun hobby but it's also racing. And racing requires rules that must be enforced. Most people are fair and follow the rules but there will always be the "win or die" people for whom tech is necessary.

Rule enforcement must start at the club level.

looked like still available this morning. No reason can’t buy another. Black would look good. Maybe with bit of sliver. I drive a night too much for a dark color to be useful.

Where does it say in the rules that stickers or equivalent must be used? I looked twice.

he did say “ the rules I race under”.

Only thing i found in rules was

Scale type race liveries encouraged

Key word there being "under" as in "down under".

Well yeah each track has there own set of rules to follow. Doesn’t mean I need to get criticized because my tracks rules aren’t the same as other tracks. We pretty much follow the guidelines of the rules stated. Body’s on the approved list, weight, tires, motors. Just race and have fun. Crying about looks is a waste of time especially if I’m not attempting to be underweight on a body. My car weighs about 1390 race ready. I keep it overnight because my scale Varys from track scales and I’m not about the fight the weight game all day at tech.

I wasn’t criticizing. If I’d been given hard time about how my USGT body was painted, I doubt I’d have ever gone back. I do believe that at big national events there should be a established standard. At local level, let run. If the local track decides to have a event, make it clear how bodies should look.

ROAR Region 4 championship Labor Day weekend at Valkaria R/C. USGT will be run as one of the option classes. In addition, the Florida State Series (FSEARA) will also be running the class this year too and it'll kick-off the first race, also at Valkaria R/C on the last weekend in Sept. Going to try and do my part to support the class. Just finished my body today.

Tried to blend just a couple of r/c decals in with the real ones.

I specified in the rules that I race under. I don't race in the USA

InfamousRacerX 08-11-2018 09:06 PM

Here’s my USGT car. I say if you do not like racing with people that don’t have realistic paint jobs pick your car up and leave. I race because I like competing if the cars look good it’s just a plus for me. Hell a completely clear body would look 😎 https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rct...d1ac3077c.jpeg

"I say if you do not like racing with people that don’t have realistic paint jobs pick your car up and leave." Done. Good work with the attitude.
