When 2-3 make of bodies show up at USGT it doesn't really bother me as much as the easter egg paint jobs, that needs to stay in TC class. I run TC too also, so i'm referring to myself. :D

I haven't raced USGT in a couple of years but I decided to come back out take the spanking like a man but take it with style. If you can't go fast look good being passed!

Question about the USGT spec tires. I had converted my USGT chassis (TC7.1) to VTA for a big race. I had to dial the dual rate down to 67% to fix a loose condition with my VTA car. I converted back last week and forgot about this transmitter setting. Ran pretty good, then today before heat 2, I remembered what I had done and put the transmitter dual rate back up to 76%. And I lost .2 second per lap. What the heck? I'm guessing that maybe I was over-driving the tires and scrubbing speed. Anyone else play around with dual rate and find this happening? Thanks.

My dual rate on USGT is around 62 or so. Depends to your car, the body and the way you drive

Did you run .2 slower from Q1 or from the week before? If it was from the week before, it could just be track conditions. But if it was after Q1 the same day, I bet you are in fact correct that you were scrubbing speed. I want all the steering and rotation I can get while keeping the car not tippy. Not sure if that helps but my .02. |

I was taught (and believe) to use dual rate sparingly. In the end, you want to setup the car where you don’t need to take away steering in your transmitter.
